Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently:
Goal of the project is the modernization and enhancement of an existing SAP BW model and application. The current application for Procurement comprises a model for Purchasing Data (=main focus), Purchase Requisitions, Service Orders and Inventory Management. This model shall be modernized & optimized (for future BW4HANA migration) enhanced by further components (Purchase Requisition commitments, Service Specifications) and combined / enriched with existing Controlling data model (joint Composite Provider(s) for specific reporting scenarios like multi-account assignment, down payments, etc.). Additionally a new model for Ariba data shall be set up (using API for data extraction and SAP Data Intelligence / Cloud Platform Integration as middleware).
Consult the Uniper BI&Analytics team in designing and enhancing the existing SAP BW data models and data flows for MM / purchasing. Present and discuss these design ideas in online meetings.
After approval, implement enhancements to the data model and new data models and applications for Procurement in SAP BW
Migrate non-BW4HANA compliant BW objects/parts of the existing data model
Provide professional and technical expertise in extracting SAP Ariba data and build a data model in SAP BI and build the data model after obtaining approval from Uniper
Document the developments and data model changes (using email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) present to Uniper for signoff and upload to Uniper Sharepoint
Present and explain the new data model to Uniper BI application management team in online meeting (Service Enabling)
Key skills
Strong SAP BW modelling skills
Experience in MM extraction (LIS Cockpit etc.)
ABAP is desirable
Experience with SAP Ariba, API, Python is desirable
English Language is essential, German is a plus
