Application Service/Operations Manager

Task Description:

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external consultant:

- Activities and resource planning; creation of an action plan by the consultant and advise Uniper if further ressources are needed in this topic

- Presentation of plans via online meetings and email

- Creation and implementation of a funtional and technical Test Planning (Test plan, creation of test scripts, testing customer reports and checking Authorizations and BO Admin tasks)

- The scripts are owned by the business and will be administered via SAP Solution Manager or locally via MS Sharepoint

- The consultant will only conduct a minimal test to ensure that the customer can fully conduct the test. These tests are only executed after the SAP BO system is upgraded or patched.

- Monitoring the project progress and tracking the issues during the Azure migration. The consultant will consult the project manager and provide technical expertise where needed to solve issues.

- The consultant will monitor the progress via online calls with the business and IT partners bi-weekly; he recieves information about possible issues within the calls

- Test Management - Collating issues and offering technical solutions to resolve them

- Input will be provided via emails or online meetings

- Frond end tools are: SAP BO, QlikSense, PowerBI, SAC, SAP BW, Tableau

- Installation of Lumira Server on BO Landscape; internal and external partners will help in this installation

- Scripting and packaging of Lumira Designer and Lumira Discovery

- The consultant will provide training to those that will use these tools and convert old reports that use old functionality to the new Lumira ones

- Building proof of concepts for Uniper Functional managers using Lumira 2.0; the proof concepts were checked by Uniper before and released for further use; Proof of concepts in this case mean: all current functional areas in the SAP BW P10 system that use old Web Reporting and new functional requirements in the BO area- Preparation of Hands-on session for Functional Managers

- Set up meetings, create training documents & training material, do workshops via online meetings

- Provision of knowledge transfer to Uniper Functional Management via MS Office documentations and Skype meetings

Implementation and Configuration of SAP Microsoft Analysis for Office

- Scripting and packaging of new Analysis for Office versions (AFO 2.8); the consultant will mirror the progress to Uniper via calls/ online meetings

- Building proof of concepts for Uniper Functional managers using Analysis for Office; the proof concepts were checked by Uniper before and released for further use

- Provision of knowledge transfer to Uniper Functional Managers via MS Office documentations and Skype meetings

- Set up meetings, create training documents & training material, do workshops via online meetings

Consultation for BI Front end tools as 1st point of contact for strategy and technical issues for this subject area, that includes being the expert for all areas of SAP BO and non SAP front end tools for strategy and technical issues (SAP BO, QlikSense, PowerBI, SAC, SAP BW, Tableau)

- SAP and non-SAP (Web Intelligence, Design Studio, Lumira, Tableau, Talend and PowerBI) front end tools - These are already implemented)

- The consultant has to look at current solutions, provide inputs on future, look at patches released by vendors and implement a plan for deployment- Provision of expert input into the Uniper reporting strategy in the Digital Era

- Provision of knowledge transfer to DXC (Unipers IT partner) via MS Office Teams

- Knowledge transfer will be reviewed by Application Management IT internally but distributed by the consultant

Development for BW HANA Modeler via HANA Studio Applications

- Creation and development of HANA objects based on conversion of existing solutions and new solutions (based on business requirements) using HANA Studio.

- The consultant will get the information about business requirements via business emails or ad hoc online meetings when the consultant is available

- The consultant will present his findings via emails and online meeting

- Conversion of Functional requirements into detailed Technical documentation via MS Office; templates are provided already

- Provision of knowledge transfer to DXC via MS Office Teams

- Knowledge transfer will be reviewed by Application Management IT internally but distributed by the consultant
