Task description

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently:

- Design and implement (agreed by Uniper stakeholders) cost optimization strategy for Azure resources (IaaS & PaaS). Define a long term cost optimization roadmap and agree with the Uniper stakeholders, this should be carried out with Cloud best practices.
- Define guidelines for improving the sustainability of the hosting environment and implement them.
- Define and implement cost & resource utilization KPIs (Power Bi real time dashboards) and agree with Uniper.
- Review the recommendations provided by Microsoft azure advisor tool (cost, OE, performance) and implement them with the support of respective teams within HaCT.
- Liaise with all other HaCT teams and drive the operation excellence (process standardization and optimization).
- Define the Azure resource reservation strategy and agree with Uniper. Guidelines to be provided by Uniper.
- Continuously track technology trends that help optimize the Uniper Azure landscape (provided by Uniper) and provide feedback to the Uniper architecture team.
- Identify topics (agreed by Uniper) to advertise and promote with articles, blogs, videos in cloudworks hub (A central platform to share information about how we use cloud within Uniper).

Uniper provides all necessary information & access to the systems (ADO, ServiceNow) in advance:
 

• Uniper KID - Uniper user account & password to connect to Uniper resources.
• Uniper mail account (marked as “external”) - A new Uniper email address to communicate with Uniper stakeholders.
• Uniper teams access - Access to all required Microsoft teams.
• Uniper RDA VDI - VDI to connect to Uniper network.
• Azure Portal Access - Access to azure resources.
• Azure devops access - Access to azure devops project, devops wiki (technical documentation).
• Access to on-premise wiki - wiki access to all required Hosting and Cloud Technologies (HaCT) documents.
• Access to ServiceNow - User account will be provided required role in Uniper ServiceNow environment.
• Access to Services Hub - access will be provided to the workspaces in Microsoft services hub.
