Background to the assignment:

The consultant will work as an independent Business Analyst in Gas Short Term Trading and Dispatch to capture Business requirements and translate those into IT and System requirements as well as taking care of configuration and enhancements in the Systems.nThe Business Analyst is expected to work in agile environment.

Detailed description of the agile method/services:

The services shall be provided within the framework of an agile development method. The concrete activities required in each case to implement the services commissioned shall be agreed upon iteratively between the parties within the framework of sprint meetings and implemented by the consultant within the respective sprints following the sprint meetings.

Prior to each sprint meeting, the consultant shall independently check, on the basis of its professional expertise, which individual services are reasonable and feasible within the scope of the assignment in the respective sprint. The sprints each have a duration of 2 weeks so the sprint meetings take place at intervals of 2 weeks. Within the individual sprints, the contracting parties shall coordinate the respective technical requirements for the services to be provided in daily meetings in order to achieve the compatibility of the individual components of the Sunflower software.

The technical requirements for the services to be provided are assessed by the consultant on the basis of its own technical assessment. After completion of a Sprint, the Parties shall conduct a ''Sprint Review'' in which the consultant reports on the feasibility and status of the services performed by it in the previous Sprint and makes a recommendation on how to proceed with regard to the services that proved to be unfeasible in the respective Sprint.

All of the meetings and exchanges described above shall take place exclusively in the presence of a central contact person named by Uniper, who shall coordinate the project on our internal side. The organization and scheduling of the meetings described above in which the consultant is involved shall be organized and carried out by the consultant and coordinated with Uniper.

Task description

• Provide consultancy to the Gas 24/7 Dispatch Business teams in review & optimization of Gas Dispatch Solution-related business processes

• Provide professional consultancy to an existing list of Uniper Business stakeholders to classify, document, and engineer requirements(functional and non-functional)

• Collect and translate business requirements into IT and System requirements

• Lead and facilitate online and onsite workshops with various levels of stakeholders across the organization. (Stakeholder list is provided in advance by Uniper). Prepare workshop material and document the outcomes.

• Point of contact for Business to be consulted on functional requirements that have been collected in the scope of the Sunflower project

• Challenge requirements and provide alternative solution options (cost/benefit analysis)

• Highlight ambiguities, contradictions, and impediments in collected business requirements to the business lead

• Prepare and document the test cases with the end users for further testing purposes

• Coordinate the testing process of the new Sunflower solution according to the collected test cases by giving advice to PM and business leads on: Lead time for testing according to collected test cases

• Advise the testers of the test cases and document the results of the testing process

• Present testing results to PM and Business lead

• Attend meetings: Weekly JF Meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, retros, and stand-up meetings as well as refinement sessions for backlogs+
