Task description:

The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external consultant:

• Overseen the transition of a legacy monolithic web frontend for a large-scale SAAS product to a single-page application backed by microservices
• Built a fully customizable reporting tool for a spend management platform used by tech, pharma and retail enterprises to streamline their costs in the meeting and events category. Built a set of highly customizable dashboards and widgets that offer deep insights into meetings and events spend to key stakeholders (CFO, CPO, financial controllers) in Fortune 500 companies
• Worked on enhancing the supplier onboarding portal and the payment backbone, by integrating with 3rd party payment providers in China, which allowed the client to successfully launch a new business unit in the highly regulated Chinese business environment and support payments in CNY/RMB
• Built a digital ads platform that allows advertisers to display their ads on tablets installed in taxis and buses.
• Built a medical platform that allows patients to find doctors in their local area, make appointments and provide ratings for the medical services
• Developed an online sampling platform for the market research industry, built around proprietary machine learning algorithms used to understand and predict consumer behavior using behavioral science principles (system 1 vs. system 2 thinking, or implicit vs. explicit behavior) to observe response patterns and behavior in real time
