Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently:

DeltaXE: The project is to replace Uniper´s old, in-house built legacy system (NEON) for power optimization, scheduling and nomination in the European markets with the new standard software “DeltaXE” of vendor Volue. DeltaXE project is already in the implementation phase with targeted go-live by mid of the year.


iHub implementation: The project is to implement Power (short-term trading, dispatch and power delivery) business requirements (captured in Use Cases by dedicated Business Analysts of the iHub team) in quick and fit for purpose solutions (in form of the so called Business As Usual – BAU items) by the dedicated iHub team / squads made up of developers and superusers. Implementation includes enhancement of already existing systems (DeltaXE, Edge) or development of new solutions (process automation).


  • Create a work breakdown structure for the activities per workstream (based on markets: NL, HU, DE) and identify the dependencies between them, including an assessment in terms of risk to business continuity, and technical risk. Basis for this work is the high-level plan and assessment created by the project manager and application management which will be provided in advance. Upload documentation to the relevant project library in MS Teams.


  • Create a detailed implementation plan with activities, milestones, and dependencies, for each stream of work based on input provided from the project manager in advance and own knowledge and experience. Final version will be reviewed and approved by the project manager.


  • Track execution of the activities described in the work breakdown structure and registered / defined in JIRA / DevOps with more detail for each workstream as per the plan (see task above). In case of delay and/or discrepancies compared to the plan and agreed structure and timeline, further escalate the issues to the project manager.


  • Create a test plan with scope and timeline of work for the technical, functional, regression and user acceptance testing per workstream based on own knowledge and expertise. Input will be provided and the final document version will be reviewed and approved by the project manager.


  • Maintain the project management tools (JIRA, DevOps) by continuous review of registered items, creating new entries (for defects, tasks, change requests), monitoring the progress of these items and check if the tool is in the correct form and state based on requirements previously provided from the project manager and own experience


  • Plan, prepare and coordinate the execution of functional and UAT testing for DeltaXE software functionalities


  • Document test findings, assess potential defects and prioritize them based on Uniper business and IT specifications. Send the results to the appropriate IT team or vendor for further issue assessment and resolution.


  • Coordinate and communicate roll-out of potential fixes to the required stakeholders within the project.


  • Plan, prepare, and facilitate workshops to improve execution of the work and to share results (1-2 times for each market/workstream). The project manager will provide input on target groups and contact information in advance.


  • Present the progress per workstream to the project manager, via a weekly call. Basis of information is the detailed delivery status report provided by workstream leads on their deliveries that needs to be consolidated into one master report.
