The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are independently performed by the external consultant:



- Identify areas of improvement and improve incident / service request processes for the enterprise reporting application. The consultant will lead the operations team to understand and improve the processes. His task is to set up processes to handle service-requests and incidents / problems while adhering to performance KPIs of the system. Used tools: Jira, Azure DEV Ops, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Sharepoint


- Technically lead, coordinate and consult an external team of offshore resources to monitor and control the application processes for the data warehouse - coordinate the tasks the team is working on and suggest and improve communication with other teams. Most of the monitoring is done by the team. The consultant is supposed to steer the team in a way that the monitoring if effective and efficient


- Expedite escalation and prioritization discussions with stakeholders of the system. Stakeholders will contact the consultant or the team by raising priorities which need to be challenged and assessed. In case of a problem the team itself cannot decide about priorities the consultant will be drawn in and he will assess the needs of the stakeholders to decide about the priorities


- Consult stakeholders regarding their requirements. It will highly appreciated if the consultant will provide suggests on anything he thinks could add value to. The consultant will get a handover from the business


- Implement continuous improvement processes - no project plan needed and no sign off


- Define and foster interfaces to project teams contributing changes (bugfixes and small enhancements) to the system based on the involved stakeholders which vary according to business needs. Any stakeholder using the system the team operates


- Improve and further develop the use of methods of Kanban/ SAF/, Scrum and coach the team accordingly. Used tool for delevopment: Azure DevOps but the consultant is free to suggest further tools


- Create and provide project related reporting, Results will be signed off by Uniper internal colleagues. There is a weekly reporting of runtimes done by the stakeholders (tracking of the delivery KPIs). In case questions arise why certain KPIs haven´t been met the consultant will have to analyze with the team and provide an answer. via Email and Excel. The Department lead is the recipient of the reporting


- Documentation will be part of the system and process documentation - delivery Artefacts and change documentation. Most of that will be delivered by the team
